This month, the Woodinville Chamber is proud to recognize Mei Hines as our April 2025 Student of the Month! Mei, a senior at the Secondary Academy for Success (SAS), exemplifies leadership, academic dedication, and creative talent.
In addition to excelling in her coursework at SAS, Mei has pursued additional classes at Woodinville High School and Bellevue College. She is currently completing the Careers in Education program through Bothell High School, where she’s been making a real impact in a 5th grade classroom at Canyon Creek Elementary. Her instructor recently observed, “Mei was just… teaching the class!”
A talented musician and designer, Mei also shines in the school’s music program, where she contributes her voice, guitar skills, and creative visuals. She has proudly represented SAS at district-level events and consistently serves as a strong voice for her peers.
Mei was nominated by her teacher, Robert Morgan, who joined the Chamber luncheon to celebrate her accomplishments alongside Executive Director Kimberly Ellertson, Chamber staff, Chamber members, City of Woodinville officials, and community leaders.
Congratulations, Mei! The Woodinville Chamber and our entire community are inspired by your achievements and proud to honor you.
