Woodinville Chamber Honors Jerry Xu as April 2026 Student of the Month
The Woodinville Chamber is proud to recognize Woodinville High School senior Jerry Xu as our April 2026 Student of the Month. Selected by the WHS administration team, Jerry exemplifies what it means to be a well-rounded leader, a dedicated student, and a positive force within his school community.
Jerry is involved in a wide range of activities that reflect both his commitment and character. He is an active member of the National Honor Society, participates on the swim team, and is involved in the Japanese Club. In addition, Jerry serves as a peer mediator, helping fellow students navigate conflict and build stronger relationships. His ability to lead with empathy and understanding is a testament to his maturity and integrity.
What truly makes Jerry stand out is his kindness and consistency. Whether he is greeting classmates or connecting with staff, Jerry makes a point to acknowledge those around him each day. His positive presence contributes to a welcoming and supportive environment at Woodinville High School, and it is clear that he makes a difference simply by being himself.
During his remarks at the Student of the Month luncheon, Jerry left a lasting impression. His speech was engaging, thoughtful, and filled with humor, keeping the room both entertained and inspired. Rather than focusing solely on his own accomplishments, Jerry spoke about his love for Woodinville and took time to highlight and celebrate his fellow students, generously giving credit to others and reinforcing the sense of community that defines WHS.
Jerry was joined at the luncheon by his mother and Woodinville High School Assistant Principal Madeline Mason, both of whom have undoubtedly played important roles in supporting his journey.
Jerry embodies the spirit of leadership through service, humility, and connection. We are honored to celebrate him as our April Student of the Month and look forward to all he will accomplish in the future. Congratulations, Jerry!
