Brooks Vale Design, owned by Amanda Welch, has been a key player in the home interior design scene in Woodinville since 2015. By blending creativity and functionality, Brooks Vale Design focuses on transforming older homes and creating spaces that families can enjoy for years to come.
Amanda began her career with an interior design degree from the University of Alabama, driven by a passion for creativity. After college, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she gained experience working for a designer. This knowledge helped her establish Brooks Vale Design when she relocated to Seattle in 2015. By 2018, she had settled in Woodinville and become part of the community.
Specializing in Older Home Renovations
Her business is divided between 60% construction, where she develops new floor plans for homes, and 40% furnishing, where her creativity flourishes. Although construction can present challenges, Amanda focuses on how the results can improve the lives of her clients.
Brooks Vale Design primarily works on renovating older homes, which align with the more traditional styles found in the Seattle area. Her ideal clients tend to be open to new ideas and trust her process. Amanda’s role is to guide them through the design journey, helping them discover new possibilities and creative solutions.
Flexibility, Creativity, and Family
Amanda started her business to gain the flexibility needed to balance her career with family life. Owning her own business has also allowed her the creative freedom to tailor each project to the unique needs of her clients. The satisfaction of seeing a well-designed space impact a family’s daily life motivates her to continue growing Brooks Vale Design.
Helping clients create homes that they can be proud of or enjoy with their families is a key part of Amanda’s approach to design. She values the opportunity to work closely with clients and understand their vision for a functional, beautiful space.
Proud Milestones and Community Engagement
One of Amanda’s proudest accomplishments is the strong referral network she has built through word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied clients. This trust and recognition within the community speak to the quality of her work and her commitment to client satisfaction. Since 2018, Amanda has been an active member of the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, which has helped her integrate into the local business community. The Chamber has provided valuable networking opportunities and strengthened her ties to Woodinville.
Looking Ahead
Brooks Vale Design continues to serve a diverse range of clients, from those tackling entire home renovations to those working on one room at a time. Each project is approached with care and attention to detail, ensuring that the result not only meets but exceeds expectations.
