21 Acres and King County’s Food: Too Good to Waste

October 5, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

21 Acres and King County’s Food: Too Good to Waste program are hosting a FREE dinner on October 5th from 6-7pm. 33% of what goes into Cedar Hills Regional Landfill from King County households is food waste (about 390 pounds per household per year). King County’s Food: Too Good to Waste program aims to raise awareness around wasted food and the small shifts we can all make to throw out less food every day. 21 Acres has paired with King County to prepare a free “food waste supper” for participants to enjoy while learning more about creative cooking and food storage and picking up helpful tips for how to waste less food at home.

Participants will also go home with a free copy of the Waste-Free Kitchen Handbook. Register today!
