Experience the Magic: Holiday Pops with LWSO

Community Holiday Pops Concert – Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra

The Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra invites you to join us for the Community Holiday Pops Concert at Bastyr University Chapel, a beloved Eastside tradition that brings families, neighbors, and music lovers together. This festive event highlights the joy of live symphonic music while celebrating the spirit of community during the holiday season.

The program features Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves and Tchaikovsky’s iconic Nutcracker Suite, performed in the stunning acoustics of Bastyr Chapel. Guest vocalist Miranda Zickler joins the orchestra for a sparkling set of holiday favorites including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Feliz Navidad, White Christmas, and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Select songs will include sing‑along moments, making this a truly interactive and family‑friendly experience.

The Community Holiday Pops Concert is designed for all ages. Tickets are offered at reduced prices for students, youth, and seniors, while children 12 and under attend free. This ensures that families across the Eastside can enjoy the magic of the holidays together.

Beyond the music, the concert reflects the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra’s mission to make the arts accessible and inclusive. By hosting this event in partnership with the Eastside community, we celebrate diversity, cultural heritage, and the joy of gathering through music.
