Live Music: Criminal Squirrel Orchestra

From the greater Seattle area comes a band of rabid, rollicking rodents dedicated to the joy music brings to the squirrely soul. Criminal Squirrel Orchestra is a quartet of seasoned musicians who play clever original songs alongside inventive, sometimes delightfully twisted covers — always with a sense of humor and a commitment to fun.

Their sound blends old-school rock ’n’ roll with a touch of country and Americana, layered with rich vocal harmonies and the kind of musicianship that only comes from years of playing together. Serious musicians who don’t take themselves too seriously, they deliver a set that’s fresh, energetic, and never predictable—reimagined favorites, fun twists and mashups, and crowd-pleasing surprises that keep the party going.
