MLK Food Drive | Woodinville Rotary
January 23 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, January 23, 12-3pm at Sumerian Brewing for our MLK (Martin Luther King Jr.) Food Drive:
“A day of service above self – helping end food insecurity”
This new year, our goal is to continue serving the Bothell/Woodinville families who are struggling due to COVID. We are inviting you to join Woodinville Rotary, Northshore Rotaract and Northshore Interact in this tri-club event.
All three clubs have been awarded a District 5030 Urgent Community Needs Grant (Rotary: $750 + Rotaract: $500 + Interact: $250 = $1,500 total) which will help purchase much needed items for the community of local Woodinville families. Volunteers from all three clubs will be onsite at Sumerian Brewing to collect additional donation items on January 23rd from 12-3pm. We will be abiding by covid guidelines and ask that you wear masks, keep socially distant and adhere to sanitizing practices. Since volunteer spots are limited, please sign up for a shift if you are interested in helping at the event by clicking on this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4da5ad23a7fcc16-mlkfood

The mission of the MLK Food Drive is to bring awareness to food insecurity in our community during the month of January and bring an opportunity to serve in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. We are thankful to partner with Sumerian Brewing and our Rotary service family to gather much needed items to help local families. Please spread the word, share our Facebook event, gather donation items and/or offer to pick up donation items from friends or family.
