UW Bothell Pub Night Talk at McMenamins: “Ecological Resilience on Mount St. Helens.”

WHY: Since the 1980 eruption of Mount St., Helens plants have recolonized, survived and adapted to the once-barren blast zone. Chang, a plant ecologist, explains how this natural experiment provides valuable lessons in the era of global change.
