The 2025 Celebrate Woodinville Glow Run 5k lit up the streets and hearts of our community on Friday, June 27, 2025, drawing a record number of runners for an evening of fun, fitness, and philanthropy. Thanks to the generous support of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, this year’s event raised $2,917 to benefit Ashley House – Country Home, an essential care facility for medically fragile children.

Founded in 1997 as Children’s Country Home, the organization has long been a cornerstone of compassionate care in our region, offering 24-hour skilled nursing for technology-dependent children in a loving, eight-bed, non-profit home. In July 2024, Children’s Country Home merged with Ashley House to become Ashley House – Country Home, continuing the legacy of specialized care while expanding the reach and resources available to families in need.

“This event is about more than just a race—it’s about coming together as a community to support causes that matter,” said Kimberly Ellertson, Executive Director of the Woodinville Chamber. “We’re incredibly proud to have had a record turnout this year, and even prouder to support the life-changing work of Ashley House – Country Home.”

The Glow Run 5k is part of the Celebrate Woodinville event series, which brings together the community through summer concerts, festivals, and family-friendly activities. Each year, the Glow Run selects a local nonprofit beneficiary to support, helping raise awareness and funds for important work happening right in our backyard.
