The City of Woodinville has officially announced its 2025 Legislative Agenda, which highlights three top priorities aimed at enhancing infrastructure, fostering community wellness, and supporting educational excellence. These initiatives reflect the city’s commitment to improving the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors.

Here’s a closer look at the primary goals:

  1. Eastrail Trestle Replacement

The Eastrail corridor is a vital regional trail connecting communities across King County. The City of Woodinville is advocating for funding to replace the aging Eastrail Trestle. This project will ensure safety, enhance accessibility, and create lasting benefits for outdoor enthusiasts, commuters, and local businesses.

  1. Community & Aquatic Center Property Acquisition

A thriving community needs spaces for recreation, wellness, and connection. Woodinville’s vision includes acquiring property for a future Community & Aquatic Center. This facility would serve as a central hub for residents of all ages, providing opportunities for fitness, leisure, and community-building.

  1. Fully Funded Education System

Education is the cornerstone of a vibrant community. Woodinville is calling for robust state funding to ensure that local schools have the resources needed to provide every student with an equitable, high-quality education. This commitment extends to programs, facilities, and support services critical for student success.

YES! I moved to Woodinville two years ago and often lament that the thing it is missing is a POOL and community center! Cannot wait to support those efforts.
