On July 31, 2026, the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Freebush Cellars, officially welcoming one of Woodinville’s newest wineries to the community.
It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon as Chamber members, local leaders, friends, and guests gathered to celebrate this exciting milestone. The Ribbon Cutting was attended by Woodinville City Councilmember Michelle Evans, Chamber Ambassadors Troy Anderson and Traci Tenhulzen, Chamber Board Member Janene Varden, Executive Director Kimberly Ellertson, Marketing Manager Kerrie La Guardia, and many Chamber members and community supporters.
Guests had the opportunity to hear from owner Marshall, who shared the story behind Freebush Cellars, including the inspiration for the winery’s unique name and his vision for creating a welcoming destination in Woodinville Wine Country. He also introduced attendees to the winery’s thoughtfully curated food and beverage offerings, versatile event space, wine club, and the experiences guests can look forward to throughout the year.
Following the ceremony, visitors explored the beautiful new tasting room, enjoyed the festive atmosphere, and captured memories at the winery’s fun photo booth. The celebration perfectly reflected the warm hospitality and community spirit that Freebush Cellars hopes every guest will experience.
Woodinville continues to grow as a world-class wine destination, and the addition of Freebush Cellars further strengthens the incredible variety of wineries and experiences available for both locals and visitors.
