City of Woodinville
Woodinville is a city of more than 11,500 residents and 740 businesses located in the lush Sammamish Valley about 20 miles northeast of Seattle, Washington. The City of Woodinville has a Council-Manager form of government with seven City Council members and an appointed City Manager. The City employs 38 FTEs in the Executive, Administrative Services, Development Services, and Public Works Departments. Police services are provided by the City through a contract with the King County Sheriff’s Office. Fire services are provided by the Woodinville Fire & Life Safety District. Water, sewer, and power are provided by special utility districts as well. Scenic landscapes, wineries, and plant nurseries make Woodinville a premier tourist destination. The stunning waters of the Puget Sound are nearby and Stevens Pass Ski Resort is a 90-minute drive.
