Woodinville Fire & Rescue

Woodinville Fire & Rescue Today

Woodinville Fire & Rescue serves an area of approximately 30 square miles and a population of 36,000. This area is covered by three fire stations. There are 60 uniformed career firefighters and 7 civilian administrative personnel. Woodinville relied heavily on volunteer firefighters from the formation as a fire district until the early 1990's. In the early 2000's the volunteer firefighter program stopped taking new volunteers. The final volunteer firefighter retired from service in 2010 after over 30 years of service. With his retirement, Woodinville Fire & Rescue is now an all career fire district.

Woodinville Fire & Rescue responded to 3,849 calls in 2014, of which 65% were medical emergency responses.
