Northshore School District & community partners organize event

Chef/owner Breanna Beike of Heritage Restaurant I Bar and The Pizza Coop Restaurant owner, Bryan Streit both located in Woodinville, are supporting Care Day 2019 at North Shore Middle School’s campus Friday, June 28th from 10-3pm. Care Day is a free resource fair for low-income and needy members of our community. In it’s 6th year, Chef Bre is preparing a from scratch, restaurant style, hot lunch for an estimated 800 guests, while Bryan and his team will be delivering freshly baked pizzas to the fair location that morning.

“In our first year of operation, last year, we identified a need in our community and came across Woodinville Store House foodbank, which does such great work in Woodinville and beyond. An on-going charity partnership was forged, whereas Heritage Restaurant | Bar orders and donates cases of produce to the foodbank weekly. We also instituted a Holiday Giving Tree; Heritage guests were offered the option of making a cash donation to the foodbank when paying their tab at our restaurant. We presented Woodinville Storehouse a check for 2K after the last holiday season. When I found out about Care Day, I decided I wanted to be involved in that as well, “explains Chef Bre.

“When Bre told me about Care Day, I thought that this was just the kind of community event Pizza Coop is looking to support, says Pizza Coop owner, Bryan. We live and operate our family business in Woodinville and in our almost 4 years of operation we have always strived to give back to the community that has embraced us so enthusiastically.”
