Each year, the University of Washington recognizes 100 undergraduate and graduate students from the Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma campuses from diverse areas of study who are making the most of their Husky experience.
We are happy to share with you that the following seven UW Bothell have been recognized as part of the 2018 Husky 100:
- Fahad Alshehri
- John Avi Socha
- Warisha Soomro
- Leah Shin
- Allison Pace
- Lisa Fryett (Blackfeet)
- Tanya Kumar
In its third year, being chosen for the Husky 100 was very competitive, with more than 1,700 nominations and nearly 600 applications. Nominated by their peers, faculty, staff and mentors, the students who become the Husky 100 are juniors, seniors and graduate students who actively connect what happens inside and outside of the classroom and apply what they learn to make a difference on campus, in their communities and for the future. Through passion, leadership and commitment, these students are preparing for life’s next challenges. As part of this prestigious group, students receive more career-boosting opportunities to expand networks with alumni, faculty, staff and business leaders.
