Molbak’s Update | Chamber Response

The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce is equally saddened to hear the news about the impending closure of Molbak’s garden + home, and that Green Partners and Molbak’s have been unable to reach an agreement.

Molbak’s is a beloved cornerstone of our business community. Our Chamber has watched for many years as the redevelopment project planned for the Molbak’s site, originally envisioned as a key element in our thriving business landscape, will now take a different course.

For decades, Molbak’s has contributed significantly to the vibrant tapestry of Woodinville. Our mission to support and enhance the local economy aligns closely with the values upheld by Molbak’s, making this announcement even more difficult.

The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce extends appreciation to Molbak’s for its substantial contributions over the years to our Woodinville Chamber’s Board of Directors, our business community, our residents, our tourism economy and more. We stand in solidarity with the residents who have cherished and supported Molbak’s for 67-years.

The Chamber is resolute in its commitment to supporting the community through this transition. Our Staff and Board have been available to Molbak’s and have shared the news as they have asked. As of now, Molbak’s has asked that we support their business over the weeks ahead, as this will aid their 70+ employees who are also navigating this challenge.
