Emma McKay, senior at Woodinville High School, was awarded the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce October 2022 Student of the Month.
Emma is a known leader at Woodinville High School and a fierce advocate for other students both within and outside of her role as a leader in the GSA club. Emma volunteers her time to tutor others and frequently helps out with tasks around the school through her role as a TA. Emma speaks her truth in the name of justice and exemplifies what it means to be a member of the Falcon community.
In attendance to recognize Emma’s accomplishments: Kimberly Ellertson, Woodinville Chamber Executive Director; Madeline Mason, Assistant Principal, Woodinville High School, Troy Anderson, Woodinville Chamber Board Chair. Emma was unable to attend the luncheon but the Woodinville Chamber wishes to commend Emma for her dedication to her community.
