The Association of Washington Business and Washington Roundtable officially launched Washington in the Making 2040, the first long-term economic vision built by and for the people of Washington.
The plan is grounded in insights from more than 4,200 Washingtonians who shared their hopes and concerns through town hall meetings and a statewide survey. As the Woodinville Chamber, we were proud to help shape this shared vision, one that outlines a bold roadmap for a stronger, more vibrant economy that will fuel prosperity across Washington.
At its heart, the plan is organized around four pillars that define long-term success:
- A world-class workforce
- A business environment where more people can succeed
- Infrastructure that connects every community
- A strong quality of life in every community
We’re already working to turn vision into action, through local partnerships, business advocacy and programs that align with what matters most to our community.
Progress is being tracked through Washington in the Making Vitals, a data dashboard that monitors key indicators like housing affordability, job growth and business starts with statewide, MSA and county-level data.
