We were honored to help welcome Miyar Adventures to Woodinville! Miyar aims to make climbing accessible and enjoyable to all people irrespective of climbing background. Additionally, Miyar aspires to provide trips and programs with a level of challenge that is suitable to the experience, training, and fitness of each participant. The Ribbon Cutting took place on Small Business Saturday, November 30, 2019 and was attended by members of the community, loyal fans and friends of Miyar Adventures, and members & guests of our Woodinville Chamber.
Miyar Adventures was named after the Miyar Valley in the Indian Himalaya where the company’s owner, Sandeep Nain, did several first ascents of technical six-thousand-meter peaks in the early 2000s. It was while climbing in this valley that Sandeep realized that he wanted to provide opportunities for others to explore the beauty of nature while challenging themselves in a mountainous environment.
