On June 4, 2026, the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce was honored to celebrate a special milestone with the Woodinville Heritage Society as they officially opened their newest exhibit, Shaping Woodinville: Work, Tools, and Community Life, at the Heritage Museum at the DeYoung House.
The Ribbon Cutting brought together community leaders, history enthusiasts, Chamber staff, Ambassadors, Board members, and supporters of the Heritage Society to commemorate the opening of an exhibit that tells the story of the people who built Woodinville into the community we know today.
We were grateful to have Mayor Sarah Arndt and Councilmember Michelle Evans join us for the celebration and help recognize the importance of preserving and sharing Woodinville’s history for future generations.
Shaping Woodinville: Work, Tools, and Community Life celebrates the farmers, builders, families, makers, and everyday workers whose hard work, determination, and care for the community helped shape Woodinville from the ground up. Through artifacts, tools, photographs, and stories, visitors can gain a deeper appreciation for the individuals whose contributions laid the foundation for the city’s growth and success.
Following the Ribbon Cutting, guests had the opportunity to explore the exhibit, connect with members of the Heritage Society, and learn more about the stories that have defined Woodinville through the generations.
Community members are invited to visit Shaping Woodinville: Work, Tools, and Community Life every Sunday this summer from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at the Heritage Museum at the DeYoung House, located at 14121 NE 171st Street in Woodinville.
